Pasco County Fall Events

As the summer slowly melts away, the early fall months bring a host of events to the Pasco County area.

One of the great things about living along the coast in Florida is the great weather in the fall and the number of great events.

The following lists some of those events for October and early November in Pasco County, a time of year that makes everyone who doesn’t live in Florida wish they did.

Of course, here at Air Fun Games we like to get out to these events, but we specialize in providing a great selection of rentals for people throwing an event of their own. Those include ones where you can enjoy the great Florida weather.

Yes, we are talking about really cool water slides.

Pasco County Events

The following are some of the upcoming events in Pasco County.

Dade City Fall Antique Faire & Market. This annual fair – officially spelled “faire” by festival organizers – features a great opportunity to do some antique shopping in historic downtown Dade City. The event is scheduled for Oct. 8-9.

Cotee River Bike Fest. The annual Bike Fest will see motorcyclists take over much of downtown New Port Richey for a festival that features great food and live music. Local craft beer companies will also sell their tasty products, and bands will take the stage for all three days of the festival. There’s also a bikini contest and, of course, bike shows and contests. The event takes place Oct. 13-15.

San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival. Only in Florida would the words “kid-friendly” and “rattlesnake” appear in the same sentence, but the annual Rattlesnake Festival truly is a kid-friendly event. Adult-friendly, too, with arts and crafts, food, live music and, of course, wildlife displays that include rattlesnakes. The event is scheduled for Oct. 15-16.

Barktoberfest. This event at Sims Park in New Port Richey will benefit various animal rescue organizations. Hosted by Paw Wash Plus, the event also includes a 5K and Fun Run. And yes, you can bring your dog – that’s what this is all about. You can “woof it up” at Sims Park on Oct. 22.

Pasco Upcycle and Art Festival. This annual festival strives to teach people about the wide array of items that can be recycled. The event also will feature work from local artists and vendors selling upcycled items, which means old items recycled for other uses. These include everything from furniture to tableware. The idea is to help the environment and have a good time doing it. There also will be food trucks and a farmer’s market. The event is scheduled for Nov. 18.

All of this means plenty of fun in Pasco County this fall. And if you are looking to create some fun of your own, don’t forget to check out the rest of our site.
