Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens has something to please kids of every age. It’s a haven for thrill ride fans, with roller coasters, water rides and the Falcon’s Fury, a 335-foot free fall drop ride that only a teenager could completely appreciate.

But the great thing about Busch Gardens is it also has a large zoo, with more than 200 animal species. And it’s interesting animals, too, like rhinos, cheetahs, gorillas, lions and tigers. Whether your kid loves thrill rides or animals, Busch Gardens is a one-stop shop.

The Beach

It’s Florida. Everyone should spend at least one long day (or weekend) at the beach every so often. Why not a kid’s birthday? In places like Clearwater and St. Pete Beach you also can find plenty of activities, from enjoying the gentle Gulf of Mexico waves to taking a trip out into the gulf on a pirate ship.

Downtown St. Petersburg
